Dr June Njama BDS MDS is a Paediatric Dentist with a passion for assisting families that have children with special needs. She leads a team of hospital dentists and interns as the Child Dental Consultant and Paediatric Dental Internship Supervisor.
Having represented paediatric dentists in Kenya as the National Council Secretary, she also acts as an ad-hoc ambassador for educating families with disabled children. June is also the founder of Imara Life Formation Program, a Christian-based initiative that offers guidance and life-coaching to students in four universities in Kenya. She is also an advocate for professional women, and is the co-founder of the Pan African Women’s Association of Surgeons (PAWAS).
June is the vice-president of the World Disability and Rehabilitation Professionals’ Association (WDRC), an international body that inspires and supports individuals and groups across the world to empower people with disabilities.
